GRAPHIC ARTS AND LIBRARY
The library and graphic arts collection offer true treasure troves of Upper Austrian art and culture. They house delicate assets, which can only be displayed on a limited basis and for brief periods. Hence three to four times per year changing exhibitions are held in the centre of the room, which focus on one topic. This also includes the register, the pages of which are turned during each new presentation, however it is possible to browse through the entire digital version.
A facsimile of the 22 m map of the Traun river is displayed in the permanent exhibition, and shows the course of the Traun from its source to its confluence with the Danube. Reproductions of town views supplement this and historic maps make it possible to view the Land ob der Enns [“the country above the Enns” (Upper Austria)] through the centuries.
